District Places Tour of the RFK Site
Please join us on Wednesday, November 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm for an exclusive FC2 "District Places" tour of the RFK site. The tour will be led by FC2 Trustee Barbara Mullenex (Perkins Eastman), whose firm developed the site's masterplan – from the stadium to the transportation connections, residential components, recreation and parks.
Since it is such a large site, this will be a driving tour with the meeting point located at The Fields at RFK Parking Lot 3 to the north of East Capitol St (View the full map details HERE). We will be using personal cars to drive to different points of interest. There will be extra space in cars if members arrive via ride-share.
Please see above to register. If you have any issues or need to confirm that your space is reserved, please contact Melissa Crawford, mcrawford@federalcitycouncil.org.

District Places Featuring CityCenterDC
Downtown needs more residents. The District is just starting on a slew of conversions and Mayor Bowser's budget gives more incentives to promote more. Two cities—Philadelphia and Calgary—are ahead of the game when it comes to conversions and have plenty of lessons to offer the District. Please join us on Monday, May 1st from 12 pm to 1 pm to hear from Paul Levy (Philadelphia) and Sheryl McMullen (Calgary) about how the District can best reach its downtown housing goals.
